One of the most common questions that arises in any discussion of the Second Body and the Second State is: Where do you usually go?
Based on the evaluation of all experimental sessions, there appear to be three environments accessible in the Second State. The first of these is referred to as Locale I — this is the most appropriate term available, and can be understood simply as the “Here-Now Zone.”
Locale I is the easiest to visualize. It consists of real people and real physical places that exist in the material world, which the experimenter is familiar with at the time of the experience. It is the world we perceive through our physical senses, the world whose existence we generally accept without question.
Visits to locations within Locale I while in the Second Body usually do not involve unknown beings, unfamiliar events, or strange environments. The places or people encountered may not be deeply personal or intimate to the experimenter, but they are not foreign or outside of prior knowledge. If something completely unfamiliar is encountered, the perception becomes distorted or unreliable.
Therefore, only results obtained from movement within Locale I while in the Second Body can be considered verifiable—that is, capable of being confirmed through standard methods of validation.
