The “Questions and answers handbook on good practices and biosecurity in small and medium-scale poultry farming” is the result of the collaboration between the Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Disease Prevention and Control (ECTAD), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the National Agricultural Extension Center, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, within the framework of the Project “Risk reduction and management of human health threats along the animal value chain” (OSRO/VIE/402/USA) to support extension workers, lecturers of vocational schools, students of animal husbandry - veterinary medicine and producers on common technical issues in raising and preventing diseases for parent chickens.
